Leads a team of copywriters who service multiple accounts, primarily Walmart but including Nintendo, Keurig-Dr. Pepper, Pizza Hut, Credit One, and more.
Partners with performance-minded senior creatives to develop branding, marketing, and advertising initiatives designed to solve complex problems for some of the world’s largest and most recognizable brands.

CHEWY
Senior Copywriter - September 2021 - January 2023
Took on a larger leadership role with a growing team of writers, ranging from healthcare experts and big-idea wizards to functional comms masters and pure novices.
Collaborated with senior designers, art directors, and creative directors to brainstorm and concept big ideas for always on and tent pole campaigns, as well as agile social posts and email sends.
Learned to sell those ideas to diverse stakeholders, ranging from product experts to CEOs, with persuasive skill and a commitment to data-backed decision making.
Executed those ideas expertly, remaining pivotal to the creative process from the first brainstorm of a tagline to the final pass in proofreading.
Owned and revamped Chewy’s email marketing program, installing A/B testing, overseeing asset creation, and seeing this program become Chewy’s second-largest revenue driver behind Autoship.
Led copy development for several significant rebrands within the Chewy portfolio—including Chewy itself, Frisco Pet Products, and American Journey—becoming a steward for consistent (but diverse) brand voices.
Became the go-to social writer, working closely with social strategists and producers to
grow Chewy’s follower counts significantly.

Stood up Chewy Studios Dallas, a product-focused photography and videography studio, as the first writer hired outside the headquarters in Florida.
Supported Chewy’s in-house branding and marketing teams, while simultaneously serving our national brand partners and owned private-label brands.
Wrote myriad types of video content, including product demonstrations, in-depth explainers, how-to videos, social content and more.
Oversaw all on-set production efforts as a combination script supervisor, on-set writer, at times director, and creative producer.
